Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles to transport packages, food, and goods safely and efficiently across Long Beach and surrounding areas.
- Maintain precise delivery records using our proprietary tracking system and obtain customer signatures.
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet strict time windows.
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff for proper loading/unloading procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean MVR record (no DUIs in past 3 years).
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience with similar delivery vehicles.
- Ability to lift packages up to 75 pounds regularly.
- Proficient with smartphone navigation and route optimization apps.
- Strong knowledge of Long Beach streets, highways, and traffic patterns.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
- Background check and drug screening required.
