Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations throughout Oakland
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at warehouse and delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and navigate stairs/deliveries in diverse neighborhoods
- Strong knowledge of Oakland streets and surrounding Bay Area
- Reliable smartphone with data access for route navigation
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
