Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to residential and commercial addresses in the Baltimore metro area.
- Practice excellent time management to ensure on-time deliveries and efficient route planning.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling package handling with care and maintaining a professional appearance.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, report mechanical issues, and maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
- Accurately log delivery information using handheld devices or company software.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to solve problems on the spot.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with GPS navigation systems.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
