Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company policies
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology for timely service
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere to all safety protocols including secure cargo practices
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
- Strong navigation skills with familiarity with Boston streets
- Professional communication and time management abilities
- Smartphone proficiency for route tracking apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
