Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations throughout Virginia Beach
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and maximize fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly and professional interactions
- Handle special delivery requests and resolve customer inquiries effectively
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience with commercial vehicle familiarity
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and navigate stairs with packages
- Strong knowledge of Virginia Beach streets and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Reliable smartphone with GPS navigation capabilities
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
