Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations within San Jose and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery records using GPS tracking and mobile scanning systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve inquiries professionally
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Assist with loading/unloading packages and ensure proper handling of fragile items
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional delivery or driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of San Jose and Bay Area roadways
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
