Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations across Philadelphia
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures upon completion
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely arrivals
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and resolve delivery issues
- Load/unload packages securely while adhering to weight limits
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team during delivery operations
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia streets and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Customer-focused communication abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation apps
- Ability to work independently in varying weather conditions
