Responsibilities
- Efficiently deliver packages and food orders to residential and commercial addresses across Memphis
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service with professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Safely operate company vehicles while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal condition
- Coordinate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and optimize route efficiency
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management at our warehouse
- Represent Memphis Express Logistics with professionalism and integrity in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of delivery or professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology
- Strong time-management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Thorough knowledge of Memphis streets, highways, and landmarks
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
