Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks in strict compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Secure cargo and verify delivery accuracy upon arrival.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs (ELD) and complete all necessary paperwork.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to receivers and shippers at each stop.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately to the maintenance department.
- Adhere to strict schedules while maintaining a defensive driving posture at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) required.
- Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) with no preventable accidents within the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and a drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of US traffic laws, geography, and route planning.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle the physical demands of the job.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
