Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer on dedicated routes between NJ and key regional hubs
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Coordinate with logistics team to optimize delivery schedules
- Secure cargo and verify delivery accuracy at each stop
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route conditions
- Represent the company professionally with all clients and partners
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 1 year OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging device (ELD) systems
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
