Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated OTR routes across the Houston metro area and regional markets
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip reports, and electronic logging device (ELD) compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance standards
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency and delivery timelines
- Represent Premier Logistics Solutions with professionalism and integrity at all client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or dedicated route experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of Houston metro area and regional highway systems
- Proficiency in using ELD systems and fleet management software
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety and customer service excellence
- Ability to work flexible schedules including overnight stays as needed
