Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on dedicated routes across California and Southwest states
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, HOS requirements, and company safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and cargo
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery documentation, and compliance records
- Build strong relationships with clients through professional communication
- Collaborate with dispatch team to ensure timely deliveries
- Participate in ongoing training to maintain certifications
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license or willingness to obtain through paid training
- 1+ year of commercial driving experience preferred
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle physical demands
- Willingness to travel overnight (dedicated route minimizes time away)
