Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated routes across the Southeast region
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance checks
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Maintain constant communication with dispatch regarding route status and delays
- Represent the company professionally at customer sites and during transit
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize delivery schedules and efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license or willingness to obtain through our paid training program
- Minimum 21 years of age with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
- Basic navigation skills and comfort with electronic logging devices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Flexibility for overnight travel and weekend availability
- No prior experience required – training provided for motivated candidates
