Responsibilities
- Operate modern, well-maintained commercial vehicles on dedicated routes between Southern California and the Southwest
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
- Complete thorough pre/post-trip inspections and accurately maintain electronic logs
- Load/unload freight efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment familiarization
- Maintain clean driving record and represent company values on the road
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL or willingness to obtain one through our paid training program
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience (commercial or non-commercial)
- Pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Commitment to safety and professional conduct
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips (dedicated routes minimize time away)
