Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Inspect, maintain, and report vehicle conditions before/during/after trips
- Load/unload freight efficiently with minimal wait times
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules
- Maintain clean driving record and safety documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 2 years OTR driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight stays (4-5 days/week)
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Knowledge of Texas regional highway systems
