Responsibilities
- Operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated Austin-to-Southwest routes
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and FMCSA regulations
- Manage electronic logs (ELD) and delivery documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and minor maintenance
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding load status
- Maintain clean driving record and zero-tolerance policy for violations
- Collaborate with logistics team for efficient route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR (no DUIs or major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with ELD systems and route navigation apps
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Knowledge of Texas/Southwest regional highway systems
