Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided freight trucks for local/regional deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage accurate delivery documentation and digital tracking
- Optimize routes for timely delivery while maintaining fuel efficiency
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and clients
- Operate advanced telematics systems for route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate loading equipment
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of California roadways and regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
