Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on dedicated regional routes between Lexington, KY and key distribution centers
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining flexible start/end times within daily windows
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and document maintenance reports
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and potential delays
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
- Coordinate loading/unloading procedures at client facilities
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with dedicated route preference
- Ability to work flexible hours (early mornings, evenings, weekends)
- Strong knowledge of regional geography and DOT regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
