Responsibilities
- Operate Class A tractor-trailer on dedicated regional routes with consistent weekly home time
- Safely transport freight between Pittsburgh, PA, and key Mid-Atlantic distribution centers
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and DOT compliance documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and maintain on-time performance
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points with professional communication
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 1 year OTR experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging device (ELD) usage
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight stays (2-3 nights weekly)
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems
