Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes with consistent schedules
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and comply with all DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance checks
- Deliver freight to multiple destinations with precise timing and professionalism
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Document all delivery paperwork and maintain proper records
- Represent Coastal Transport Solutions with exceptional customer service at all stops
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR/Trucking experience with dedicated route background preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic navigation technology
- Excellent time management and route planning abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
