Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on dedicated long-haul routes with predictable schedules
- Maintain meticulous trip logs and comply with FMCSA regulations (ELD, HOS)
- Inspect, maintain, and report vehicle conditions to ensure optimal performance
- Deliver freight to designated locations with exceptional time management
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route planning and delivery coordination
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR/long-haul driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips and regional variations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to participate in paid orientation program
