Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for dedicated OTR routes
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance standards
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery documentation, and vehicle inspections
- Optimize routes for efficiency while meeting delivery deadlines
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Represent the company professionally in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of NYC metro area and Northeast corridor
- Proficiency with ELD systems and digital logging
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
