Responsibilities
- Operate company-provided box trucks safely and efficiently for local/regional routes
- Manage delivery schedules, load/unload cargo, and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Optimize routes to maximize delivery efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Submit daily logs and expense reports for reimbursement processing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable box truck or straight truck experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge for preventive maintenance
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Reliable smartphone with GPS and data connectivity
- Proof of general liability insurance ($1M minimum)
