Responsibilities
- Operate personal box truck for local/regional freight delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Ensure cargo safety and secure loading/unloading procedures
- Manage route optimization for on-time delivery performance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for daily assignments
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability)
- DOT medical certification current
- Reliable box truck (26ft max) in good condition
- Smartphone with GPS and reliable communication
- Basic accounting software knowledge
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
