Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently on OTR routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensure the safe loading, unloading, and securing of freight.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date driver logs (ELD) and delivery documents.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status and schedules.
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety policies.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the tractor and trailer.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Legal right to work in the United States.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
