Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for dedicated regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and accurate log documentation
- Maintain consistent communication with dispatch for route optimization
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while prioritizing customer satisfaction
- Operate advanced telematics systems for real-time tracking
- Participate in continuous safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with dedicated routes
- Strong knowledge of regional geography and NJ/NY corridors
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety-first driving practices
- Flexibility for occasional overnight stays
