Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and professional manner across long distances.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Manage cargo loading, unloading, and securement according to safety regulations.
- Update electronic logging devices (ELD) accurately and maintain detailed logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and delays.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel long distances.
