As a dedicated OTR driver, you'll operate modern, well-maintained tractors hauling freight for our long-standing client partners. Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated OTR routes across the Southeastern US
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely delivery of freight
- Build strong relationships with clients through professional communication
- Maintain clean driving record and uphold company safety standards
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient routing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 1 year OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Self-motivated with excellent time management
- Ability to work independently while following company protocols
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including overnight trips
