Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated Milwaukee-to-Midwest route
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records per DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure optimal vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient load planning and on-time deliveries
- Represent Swift Transportation with professional conduct at customer sites
- Utilize Qualcomm systems for real-time communication and route optimization
- Adhere to all safety protocols and Hours of Service (HOS) compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no preventable accidents in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service excellence
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in all weather conditions
- Willingness to stay overnight 1-2 nights per week for route efficiency
