Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on dedicated San Francisco to Los Angeles route
- Maintain meticulous logs and DOT compliance documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and preventive maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading
- Uphold strict safety protocols and defensive driving standards
- Build positive client relationships through professional conduct
- Utilize electronic logging systems accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Dedicated route experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Proficient in GPS navigation and electronic logs
- Flexible availability including weekends
- California residency required
