Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and compliance documentation
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and customer requirements
- Implement defensive driving techniques in all conditions
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- DOT medical certification and current TWIC card
- Proven experience with hazmat tanker or dry van preferred
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and Hours of Service
- Ability to pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic familiarity with Qualcomm or similar dispatch systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
