Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed)
- Maintain accurate logbooks and comply with DOT regulations
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Deliver freight on time while prioritizing customer service
- Adapt to changing schedules and weather conditions
- Complete required paperwork and delivery documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility for overnight trips and irregular hours
- Valid TWIC card for port access (if required)
