Responsibilities
- Operate modern tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes across California and neighboring states
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Perform thorough pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Utilize electronic logging systems (ELD) for accurate route and hour documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication with dispatch and clients
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all safety protocols
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize delivery schedules and efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with at least 2 years of OTR driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in using ELD systems and GPS navigation technology
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Flexibility for overnight travel (4-5 day average routes)
- Commitment to safety excellence and professional conduct
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for occasional freight handling
