Responsibilities
- Operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes (FL, GA, AL, SC)
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and DOT compliance documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with remote dispatch team for route adjustments and load tracking
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling of temperature-sensitive freight
- Participate in quarterly safety training and certification programs
- Represent company values through professional customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with dedicated route background
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with ELD systems and basic technology
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Flexibility for occasional weekend runs (1-2/month)
- Miami-based residency required for home time guarantees
- HAZMAT certification preferred but not required
