Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks on dedicated regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) compliance
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Represent Swift with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL preferred (training provided)
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- No DUI/DWI convictions in past 5 years
