Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks on dedicated long-haul routes across the United States.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Secure cargo according to load planning and DOT regulations to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required documentation.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and status updates.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required (Mentorship training provided for qualified candidates).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude behind the wheel.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
- Current medical card is a plus.
