Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks over long-haul routes (Over-The-Road) in all weather conditions.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring securement and adherence to weight limits.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and documentation as per DOT regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to shippers and receivers during delivery stops.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean and organized at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Clean driving record (MVR) and good moral standing.
- Willingness to undergo our paid training program for drivers with no prior experience.
- Strong work ethic and time management skills.
- Flexibility to travel long distances and be away from home for extended periods.
