Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on dedicated regional routes
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipments
- Manage delivery schedules and time efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL (training provided if needed)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Willingness to work flexible schedules and overnight travel
- Basic math skills for load documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong work ethic and reliability
