Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for long-distance freight transport
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and documentation
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and mileage records
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding route status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL (commercial driver's license) or willingness to obtain through our training program
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic navigation skills and smartphone proficiency
- Flexible schedule including overnight travel
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- US citizenship or legal work authorization
