Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight over long distances while adhering to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and pre/post-trip inspections
- Optimize routes for efficiency while meeting strict delivery deadlines
- Build strong relationships with clients through professional communication and service excellence
- Operate modern, well-maintained tractor-trailers equipped with advanced safety features
- Collaborate with dispatch teams for proactive problem-solving and route adjustments
- Uphold Elite Logistics' commitment to zero-accident standards and environmental responsibility
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with hazmat endorsement preferred
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Pass background check and drug screening as per DOT requirements
- Flexibility for irregular schedules and overnight travel
- Customer-focused mindset with exceptional communication abilities
