Responsibilities
- Operate Class A tractor-trailers for dedicated long-haul routes across the Midwest region
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and FMCSA regulations during all operations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs (ELD)
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs promptly
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency and delivery timelines
- Represent NorthStar Logistics with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with ELD systems and electronic log compliance
- Strong knowledge of Midwest regional highway systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team communication
