Responsibilities
- Operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes with predictable schedules
- Ensure strict compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance requirements
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient load planning and delivery timing
- Maintain accurate logs and electronic records (ELD) for compliance
- Represent Swift Transportation with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb trailer steps safely
- Strong familiarity with West Texas roadways and delivery protocols
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Basic mechanical knowledge for on-road troubleshooting
