Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A trucks on dedicated regional routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and compliance documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch and customers for efficient loading/unloading
- Adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations
- Report maintenance issues and accidents per company protocol
- Represent Swift professionally at all customer locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 1 year OTR experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Commitment to safety compliance
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips
- Basic smartphone proficiency for ELD systems
