Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks over long distances to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition.
- Maintain a clean driving record by strictly adhering to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle mechanical safety.
- Complete accurate delivery paperwork and logbooks within federal guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers at every stop.
- Keep the cargo area and cab of the truck clean and organized at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B (Commercial Driver's License).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Willingness to participate in our paid training program for new hires.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform physical tasks related to cargo handling.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
