Responsibilities
- Operate Class A Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMV) safely and efficiently over long-distance routes.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections according to DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual handling, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Complete and submit accurate daily logs (ELD) and delivery paperwork on time.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with customers and the public.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch to report any mechanical issues or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR or Dedicated driving experience.
- Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and background check (no DUIs in the last 5 years).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
