Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks over long distances (OTR).
- Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and complete all required paperwork on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery details.
- Practice defensive driving techniques to ensure zero accidents.
- Ensure the preservation and security of cargo during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong customer service skills and professional attitude.
- Willingness to work varying schedules and long hours away from home.
