Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to deliver freight safely and efficiently across assigned routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT compliant) and all necessary documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR check) and no major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary.
