Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks over long-distance routes (OTR) to meet delivery schedules.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of driving time, mileage, and cargo status using ELD technology.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to proper cargo securement procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery windows and any route changes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations or DUIs.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- U.S. work authorization and legal residency required.
