Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial tractor-trailer vehicles on long-haul over-the-road routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring safety and security.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and all necessary paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Deliver freight on time and handle customer interactions professionally.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing into the cab.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules and travel long distances.
