Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently over long distances (OTR).
- Ensure timely delivery of cargo while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Manage all necessary documentation, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance and vehicle cabin.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and delays.
- Adhere to strict Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no recent DUIs or major moving violations.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and loading cargo.
- Willingness to travel long distances and be away from home for extended periods.
